Rinko Farm Diary｜7/20 Our Memorable First Harvest

The day of our memorable first harvest coincided with a major victory for the Sanseitō Party in the Upper House election!

It was a doubly and triply joyous day. We raised a toast 🍷 with gratitude for: – the vegetables that bore fruit, even if small, – the friends who worked alongside us, – our healthy bodies that allowed us to work, – and the bright, hopeful future of Japan.

The freshly harvested produce was first offered at the family altar, and then transformed into colorful, delicious salads packed with energy.

The pasta with meat sauce, simmered slowly since the day before, was exquisite! It was a meal to savor while appreciating the blessings of nature and the connections with others.

Gratitude! Gratitude! For the blessings of heaven, the bounty of the earth, the encounters with people—thank you for everything.
