Rinko Farm Journal | 6/29 Gathering at the Field! Weeding, Planting, and Sowing

From the Rinko Farm Project

Today, June 29, we gathered at the fields at 6 a.m. 🌱
We all worked up a good sweat together! 💦
Thanks to the Koishi family and ASKA-san for your hard work!

After finishing our tasks, we stopped by a café for a relaxing break ☕
And wow, it was absolutely perfect…!

We started the day with weeding, then planted seedlings,
laid mulch, and even sowed seeds for the very first time.

The hardest part, by far, was watering—walking back and forth along the irrigation channels!
Next time, we hope to set up a pump and hose system to make watering easier.

Even though we’re all still beginners, our motivation is top-notch 🔥
We’re slowly figuring out the methods, and most importantly, it’s fun!
Farming is tough, but we want to keep going without giving up.

See you again next Sunday! Let’s meet at the fields at 6 a.m.
We’ll continue today’s work together 🌿
